Hey, Bender, something looks different about you.
I've replaced my metal parts with tropical maple paneling. I'm hoping if I resemble the snails' natural habitat, they won't corrode me.
Is it working?
Well, I haven't been slimed so far. But on the downside, a couple of lumberjacks tried to tap me for syrup.
Not that you don't look good in wood, but what are you gonna do when the snails finally go away?
I'll just hire a couple of day laborers to take the wood paneling off and replace my glorious metal siding.
What if your roommate saw your glorious metal siding lying around our apartment and thought it was junk and sold it for scrap?
Then I'll have the day laborers cover me in strips of human roommate flesh.

Turning yourself into wood was a great idea, Bender. You look great.
Eh, I'm starting to have second thoughts.
For one thing, I'm vulnerable to fire. Also, I think some teenagers carved their initials into me while I was asleep.
No, Kif and I did that. We wanted to commemorate our love somewhere we could look at it whenever we want.
My bottom was a good choice then.
I almost caught fire!
Didn't they cover "not catching fire" in the employee safety class?
That class was for losers. I took the "Walking Away From Explosions While Not Looking" class instead.
But I flunked out after I walked away from an explosion too slow and caught fire.
